Daniela Parra came to ºÚÁÏÉçÇø drawn by its diverse community, beautiful campus, and welcoming atmosphere. As a Communication major at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø with a minor in Journalism, she quickly found an environment that encouraged both academic growth and spiritual development.
Throughout her four years at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø, Daniela encountered God in meaningful ways — through relationships, chapel services, professors, and everyday acts of kindness. She describes ºÚÁÏÉçÇø as a place where students are given opportunities to feel loved and to love others in return.
From a young age, Daniela’s has been to write. At ºÚÁÏÉçÇø, she developed her communication skills, discovered new strengths, and even began working in her field before graduating. The hands-on experiences and mentorship she received prepared her to confidently step into her career.
As the oldest of four daughters and the child of Colombian immigrants, Daniela is a first-generation college graduate. For her, earning a degree represents more than personal achievement — it is a testimony of faith, perseverance, and gratitude. She hopes to be an example for her sisters, her family, and others who may be navigating similar challenges.
